Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

New Logo

Things are always developing at Truth Traveler Headquarters as we continue to move forward. Here are the changes to the logos since the beginning. Special thanks to a friend in Muncie, Indiana for creating the new, fresh logo that is currently used.

January 2006- Truth Travelers Begin

In January 2006 a children's minister named Matt Lee wanted to create a way for children to take the love of Jesus with them wherever they traveled. Matt enjoyed sketching and drawing so he began to put his pencils to paper. A few weeks later a cartoon character named Pocket Paul was born and the Truth Travelers idea captured Matt's dreams.

The first step in Pocket Paul's new life was a specially designed devotional for children and families to discover God's love and plan wherever their adventures took them. Each devotional was five days complete with scriptures and discussion. Families were encouraged to use Pocket Paul as an "ice breaker" for sharing Jesus with specific people each day and to take pictures often.

Several families and individuals at the church Matt was serving at in Muncie, Indiana as well as other family and friends took Pocket Paul with them and made him a part of their family. They loved the fact that he was water proof laminated and hung on a convenient lanyard. It meant he could travel anywhere. In the next two years, Pocket Paul traveled the globe. From water parks, Disney, Philadelphia, D.C., Florida, Atlanta, and Camp Kid Jam to Jamaica and Liberia, Africa Pocket Paul made a lot of new friends and experienced many things. Some celebrities like Children's Worship Leader Yancy and Pro-Wrestling Super Star Hulk Hogan became friends with Pocket Paul. On his trip to Jamaica sadly though Pocket Paul was martyred as he slid down a water fall into an ocean.

Pocket Paul's favorite trip was in 2008, when he traveled back home to revisit the land he walked when he was actually the real Apostle Paul. With friends he visited the Jordan River, the Wailing Wall, the Garden of Gethsemane, and set sail at the Sea of Galilee. What a special opportunity to travel back and see how things had changed more than 2000 years later.

In 2007, one year after Pocket Paul was created Matt made several attempts at publishing the Truth Traveler idea with Pocket Paul. Fortunately, none of the publishers were interested and Matt wondered what the next step should be.

When Pocket Paul's traveling adventures slowed down Matt put him on Facebook. There he met many more friends and shared Jesus' love with everyone he met. To date Pocket Paul has nearly 600 friends on Facebook. These include several Christian recording artist and other incredible people. Will you become his friend on Facebook?

As you can see from the pictures Pocket Paul has changed in appearance but his orginal intent remains... be a blessing and encouragement to everyone he has an opportunity to meet.

He is still available for traveling and would love to take his next adventure with you, your family, and your friends.
